Construction Update

 

Construction of the Victorian Peaks Office Retail complex  commenced on July 31st, the day after a groundbreaking  blessing by  Father Hill from the Greek Orthodox Cathedral and Father Christodolos from  St. George Greek Monastery. Mallory Construction is the general contractor and the dirt work was under the supervision of Brent Bates excavation, Merz Enterprises is the trucking company and the foundation work by Covenant Concrete all from Parker. On September 18, 2007 the bottom of the excavation was reached with over excavation slated for October for the under slab work. Utility poles located at the site were permanently removed during  September. All utilities are now buried in the vicinity. Pikes Peak Court improvements and storm water system have been completed.r. Foundation and concrete install work commenced in October  with the first walls poured in November and completion in January. Underslab plumbing by SW Plumbing concluded in January. Steel delivery and install was during February  and March of 2008. Steel engineering by Chisholm Consultants, steel supplier is Colorado Steel and inspections by Terracon Consultants, Chisholm Consultants  and MMC Engineering. Steel erection is by High Ball erection services. Lower level floor slab scheduled for pouring during the first week of February by Daughenbaugh Construction and floor pouring complete in May.  The Victorian Peaks water quality tank was installed on February 1, 2008 by RJ Nichols Company.  Steel framing and light truss work by Mission Drywall during May.  The elevator shaft work was completed by Mission Masonry in April. The prominent Jeld Wen windows were delivered to the site in May and work on the tower started on May 21, 2008. The building was topped of on June 13, 2008 and window installations during June and July. Brick work started in mid June by Mission Masonry. The EPDM roof was installed also during the third week of June. Electrical Services by Jarvis Brothers. The start of siding to the building by Mallory Construction in July. Exterior signage will be by YESCO and slated for the early part of September. Landscaping by American Design and Pine Lane Nursery also during September. Inspections by Teracon Consultants and by Current Engineering.

Construction Completion:  Fall 2008
